In 5th grade students will be given a planner to record their assignments. Students will be responsible for writing their down homework each night as well as taking their assignments home. Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday and will follow the Walnut Creek School District's policy. 

The main components of daily homework are: 

• Reading

• Spelling & vocabulary practice

• Math work
