After attending Parkmead, Murwood, and Walnut Creek Intermediate, I graduated from Las Lomas in 1993 and headed off to college really prepared. I graduated from the University or Oregon with a degree in General Science and minors in Chemistry and Environmental Studies. I earned my teaching credential from Chapman University and came back to WCI as a teacher, where I met my husband. (He is now a high school science teacher.)

 

When my son, Aidan, was born, I spent four years at home being a full time mom. During this time, I went back to Chapman University and earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.

 

I have taught grades 4-8 in Walnut Creek, Colorado, Orinda, and Berkeley. I am thrilled to be back in Walnut Creek!
