A Little About Me...

This is my seventh year teaching and my third year at Walnut Heights. I grew up in the small town of Woodland and attended college at UC Davis. I majored in English and received a minor in Education. I also obtained my Multiple Subject teaching credential from UC Davis. I recently moved to Walnut Creek and I am so excited to be a part of such a great community! 
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. On the weekends I love to cook, bake, and try out new hikes in the area! 
I grew up in a family of educators and knew from an early age that teaching was my passion. I believe in creating a positive and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow to their fullest potential. I look forward to a wonderful year!
