I have been part of the Walnut Creek School District since my daughter started at Parkmead as a kindergartener. She is now a Senior at Las Lomas. I volunteered as a library assistant for her class from day one. I enjoyed the experience so much that I enrolled and completed the Library Certificate program at DVC. I worked for a few years at the Walnut Creek Public Library, starting in the small interim building in Civic Park then moved over to the lovely new facility. I joined the district as an employee in 2011 working as a long term sub in the library at Murwood Elementary. I just completed my seventh year at IV and have seen my first class of kindergartners become graduating 5th graders. I am so blessed to be a part of the Indian Valley community. I love getting to know all the students each year and helping them find books that keep them excited about reading.
