The Walnut Creek Education Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote quality education in the Walnut Creek School District by raising money from a variety of sources to help meet critical needs the district's budget cannot meet. WCEF is comprised of a board of directors and includes a representative from each school. The goal of WCEF is to fund district-wide programs that cannot be funded on an individual school basis. Donations to WCEF are responsible for continuation of the Art, Music and P.E. programs at Murwood.
