Kim Crane moved up to fourth grade four years ago.  She feels as though she had mastered multiplication skills and was ready for a challenge.  She had been a 3rd teacher at Indian Valley since 2001. Kim attended Bloomsburg University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communications/ Secondary Education. Early work experience included teaching English and Theatre Arts in Baltimore, Maryland, where she earned a Masters in Humanities and History of Ideas from Johns Hopkins University. After teaching, came a life changing move to California and a stint in the business world as a sales representative for Houghton Mifflin Company, a Marketing Manager for our local Bay Alarm Company, and the Chief Operating Officer of her home.  Kim feels lucky to be spending her days with nine and ten year olds and honing her craft as a teacher.
