    I graduated from San Jose State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Two years later I received my teaching credential. I was thrilled to begin my teaching career in first grade in Newark Unified School District. After teaching first grade for a couple of years, I moved to Walnut Creek and taught Kindergarten, briefly, at Parkmead. I have been teaching at Murwood since 1999.
    I am looking forward to a fun, productive and rewarding year.

    I feel an ideal learning environment is one that is safe, orderly and structured where students feel safe and secure about expressing themselves through critical thinking skills and are always motivated to meet the high expectations.
