    Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

    I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade core at Walnut Creek Intermediate (WCI).  I started my career in 1993 in San Diego, CA.  In 2009 I started working for the Walnut Creek School District as a Resource Specialist.  I have credentials in both special education and general education, as well as a masters degree in special education. 
     
    I teach reading and writing in a workshop format, with the goal that students become better readers and writers and to believe that they are readers and writers!

    I believe that learning can be fun and strive to engage all students.  I'm energized about teaching and love an enthusiastic class! 

    I'm looking forward to working with and getting to know you all!

    It's going to be another great year!
