I am a native of the Bay Area and love being a part of our vibrant community!  I enjoy reading and literature as well as all aspects of the writing process.  I've traveled to Italy, Spain, Mexico, England, and several states within our own country, and enjoyed learning more about the history, art, and architecture of these amazing places.

I received my BA from St. Mary's College in Art and Design and continued to earn my teaching credential in English and Art with a Social Science addition.  I've worked for the last 13 years with 6-9th graders teaching Art, Language Arts, Social Studies, working in the Library, and helping with after school sports.

I'm excited to start a new year at WCI and walk through the writing and reading workshops with my students, as well as exploring our past history and discussing the lasting effects it has on us.  This will be my 13th year teaching and 5th at WCI. I'm thrilled to be working in our wonderful community and look forward to the new school year with you!
