• Donor’s Choose Guidelines

     

    All Donors choose devices must:

     

    • Be on the District Device (computers/Chromebooks/iPads) supported list. Be purchased with 3 year warranty(if available).

    • Chromebooks must be ordered with purchase of Management console licenses.

    • Management console licenses should be put under walnutcreeksd.org (It is mandatory to bring the licenses under our domain).

    • Enter a ticket for Technology Services to inventory, tag and configure before they can be used on the network.

    • Must be delivered to IT Warehouse (960 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94596)

     

    Computers and tablets- be sure to check with district standards before requesting a PC through grants- NOT ALL PC’s CAN BE SUPPORTED.

                Computers acquired through Donors Choose or grants should be purchased with 3 year warranty.

     

    All Chromebooks need to have a license for the Management Console. When order through the district this is included but not automatically come with it when ordered through Donors Choose. CDWG is the only vendor who offers this in Donors Choose. 

     

    CDW-G will need the name of our Google Apps domain and the full name and email of our Google Apps administrator in order to process your Management Console license

     

    Sites need to purchase Management console licenses from CDWG for Donor’s Choose Chromebooks acquired without the Management console.

                   Management Console license should be ordered one for each Chromebook. The correct domain should be walnutcreeksd.org
