Welcome to Room 21!

I absolutely love working with young children!  Transitional Kindergarten is fantastic, and the children amaze me each and every day. It is a pleasure to work with all of the wonderful students, families, and staff here at Walnut Heights.  I have been teaching for 23 years.  I have taught the past six years here at Walnut Heights.  I majored in  Child Development and received my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from San Jose State.  On the weekends I love to spend time with my family, walk my dogs, cook, and head to the beach.  I want to instill the love of learning in each of my students, along with creating a nurturing and welcoming environment for each of them to reach their fullest potential.  I look forward to a fantastic year!
