I love serving in the Walnut Creek School District.  Each school provides quality education that enriches the lives of their students.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Tice Creek School community.

My teaching journey began in the Placentia Yorba Linda School District in 1997, where I taught fifth grade for two years, while completing my Master’s Degree from Biola University.  I grew up in Contra Costa County and happily returned to begin teaching fifth grade in Walnut Creek, at Murwood Elementary.  I enjoyed my six years at Murwood.

After an eight-year break to be home with my young kids, I returned to the Walnut Creek School District in 2014, where I taught fourth grade at Buena Vista Elementary.  It was a privilege to work alongside very knowledgeable and inspired educators.

Now I am privileged to be at Tice Creek School where I continue to teach fourth grade.  It is exciting to collaborate with other professionals to provide an environment where students are empowered to become compassionate and innovative thinkers who will have a positive impact in the world around them.
