Homework Policy
The district policy for 5th grade homework is about 1 hour of
homework a night. If your child's homework is going over this amount of time please contact me. I would like to encourage all parents to write me a note on their child's homework or in an email if your child is struggling with any of the homework assigned.

All students will be given a Planner to record their daily assignments for the year.
*Every student
should read 30 minutes a day.
*Spelling tests will occur almost every Friday. The words are usually passed out the Friday before so that your child has the weekend to review the words if he/she feels like doing so.
*Other assignments and tests will be written in the Planner by the students.
