    RECIPE:

    (Use 2:1 cornstarch to water)

    2 Cups of Cornstarch

    1 Cup of water

(if it is not mixing, gradually add a little more water ~1/4 cup.)

Optional:  If you are reading Dr. Suess add a couple of drops of green food coloring.  BE CAREFUL the food coloring can stain.

    Answer:

It acts like a liquid when poured but a solid when a force is acting on it, such as squeezing it.
