    Responsibility- Parent Information

    Greetings Parents!

The main tools we are teaching are:

    •  what it means to be responsible

    •  what it looks like to be responsible at school and home

    •  common excuses for NOT taking responsibility:
    • "I don't care."
    • "No one told me."
    • "It's all YOUR fault."
    • "I give up."

You can help your child practice Responsibility by:

    • Reviewing the sayings on the book mark that your child brings home (grade 4 and under only)
    • Giving your child age-appropriate responsibilities at home.
    • Praising your child when he/she is responsible.
    • Supporting your child to make wise, responsible choices for himself/herself.
