Barbara Albaugh

Mrs. Albaugh is in her 21th year in the Walnut Creek School District. Her experience in the district includes:

1. 8th grade English and History teacher - WCI
2. Department Chair - Social Studies
3. 6th grade core teacher - WCI
4. Resource specialist - WCI
5. co-teacher 7th grade remedial core -WCI
6. GATE instructional specialist - Parkmead and Buena Vista
7. resource paraprofessional - Parkmead

Her degrees and credentials include a Bachelor's in History with a minor in Philosophy, a Master's in History, a California multiple subject teaching credential, and supplemental authorizations to teach English and Social Studies as single subjects. In 2013 she was named WCI's Teacher of the Year.

Prior to working in Walnut Creek School District, Mrs. Albaugh worked for Huntington Learning Center as a teacher and assessor. In addition to providing instruction in reading and language arts, she taught SAT prep courses for the verbal portion of the test.
