Shari Bacci is a kindergarten teacher at Buena Vista Elementary School.  This is her sixth year teaching kindergarten.  Previously, Shari has taught first, second, and third grade in Pleasanton.  She also spent six years teaching Developmental Reading at Diablo Valley College.  She realized how much she missed the little ones, so she made her way back to the elementary grades. 
 

Shari attended San Francisco State University for her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and University of California at Berkeley for her Master's in Education and Reading Specialist Credential.  She is also a trained Reading Recovery teacher, and she has spent the last eight years working with first graders here at Buena Vista.
