• Hello and welcome to Second Grade!

    My name is Jen Hurd and I am very excited to begin my seventh year teaching Second Grade, and my second year of job sharing with the wonderful Megan Wherritt. I began working at BV in 1999 as  a Kindergarten teacher which I did for 5 years and then made the move to Third Grade for 3 years. Prior to BV I taught at a private school in Alameda for 7 years at various grades, mostly Kindergarten. I have a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in New York and a Master's from San Francisco State University.
