• I grew up in Southern California and attended UC Santa Barbara.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in marine biology.  Shortly after college, I worked for a company that designed and built zoo exhibits and aquariums.  I also worked at the Orange County Marine Institute in Dana Point, CA where I taught marine science to children.  Both jobs brought my two passions together - marine biology and teaching.  I received my teaching credential from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.   I graduated from St. Mary's College with a Masters of Arts in Teacher Leadership.

This is my 17th year teaching and 6th year at Buena Vista.  I have taught different grade levels ranging from first grade to 6th grade math and science.  My teaching adventures have taken me to Las Vegas, NV and Raleigh, NC.  However, it feels good to be back in California.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year!
