•  Every Monday your child will come home with a homework packet and cover sheet for the week’s homework.  It is important that they bring this packet to and from school every day in their accordion folders. Their accordion folders should hold all of the work from in class and homework.

    Homework should take thirty minutes to complete     plus the book log reading for the evening (That would be a total of 50-60 minutes).  My homework is a practice or review of something we have done in class.  If your child is spending more than an hour to complete homework, let me know, so we can figure out some strategies to help them expedite this work.

     

    Please remember that most fourth graders need some supervision to complete work. Please help your child by looking over their homework coversheet every night and ask to see what they have completed. It is often helpful to make a ritual of seeing them put their work into the accordion folder, which goes into the backpack, which then goes by the front door.
